Welcome to iHerd. I’m Lyndon, the bloke who runs this site. I’m dedicated to sharing my passion for farming and caring for the animals in our care. From a young age, I found myself immersed in the world of farming, with fond memories of driving tractors for my Grandpa as he fed out hay to the cows and ‘helped’ with the milking and feeding the calfs. Although life led me away from the farm, I always find solace in reconnecting with my roots and being around farm animals as much as possible, and definitely writing about the importance of caring for them ethically and responsibly.
As my life has progressed, I’ve come to realize that family and a career sometimes require us to stray from our true passions. Nevertheless, I strive to maintain a connection to the farming lifestyle, even in the midst of a bustling world. So I stay connected by growing a vegie garden in my front and backyard (yes you read correctly), and write about my various connected passions. I passionatly absorb any information related to farms, farming techniques, and living in harmony with animals on the the land.
